Two things you should know about Vivienne and Ryan's wedding:
1) After San Jose took a beating by mother nature all week long, I was praying for her to give me only one hour to shoot the portrait on Saturday. Result: we had one hour of cloudy sky and no sun. BAM! I finally learn that praying does work.
2) Despite the temporary stoppage of rain, it was still cold. The bridal party was so gracious to endure some serious goose bumps and actually did everything I asked of them. I learned that they really love Vivienne and Ryan...or they just simply owe them money.
Our photography team had a blast. Even though grueling, it was one of the jubilant weddings we've ever attended. Choosing the right bridal party members does make a huge difference in making your day more special.

Ceremony: Holy Name of Jesus Church
Hair and Make-up: Pure Hair Studio, Joann Huynh
Video: Chad Dyle Productions
Flowers: Urban Earth Studios
Blessed with the best weather New Orleans could bring, I was glad to be back shooting a wedding in my home town. I was thrilled to have such wonderful talents in the industry as Chad Dyle and Jim Forly from Chad Dye Productions and Joann Huynh from Pure Hair Studio. On top of it all, I was able to visit my mom for several days.
After indulging in crawfish, oysters, gumbo and Cafe Du Monde's beignets, the clothes which I brought to visit were a bit tighter on my trip back. I think I should try to book couple of these weddings so I can make an excuse back to see my dear mother more often (by the way, my mom is still is in disbelief that I could get paid shooting wedding.
She still wonders what I went to college for).
Nhu:
LOVE.....LOVE....LOVE....everything!! Thanks so much!
