Welcome to my blog I'm a wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a very simple philosophy and style:
I shoot life, as it happens. I thrive on shooting split-second moments that mark
life-altering experiences: an extended gaze, a touch of the hand, a tearful smile.

I capture the details that few people notice, the moments everyone wants to remember,
and ultimately the feelings that can be relived, over and over, for years and decades to come.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I hope it gives you some
insight into my skills, experience and professionalism. Please contact me if you
have any questions or are interested booking an appointment.

I had a great great day photographing a former colleague, Stephanie, and her fiance( P.J.) in San Francisco. Not only did I get to re-unite with one of the sweetest friends, but experienced the electric atmosphere in San Francisco before a Giants playoff game.

We met up at The Mandarin Orient Hotel, where P.J. had booked a room as a surprise for his beautiful future wife. I knew it was going to be a special day once I found out the gift was for their Third Year Anniversary. On top of that, P.J had arranged a wonderful driver, Dean with Andiamo Livery Management, to take us around on locations. Very Convenient. Yes!

We ended shooting at multiple locations throughout the city nearby the Piers, with plans of finishing up at AT&T Park to capture the energy and ambient surrounding the park before the start of the game. I think the only people more excited than me (a sports fanatic) are Stephanie and P.J. as they entered the gate with front row tickets. I think their day experience could not have ended on a higher note as the Giants won on a thriller, 6-5...one win away from reaching the World Series.

Thank you Stephanie and P.J. for letting me part of your Special Day. I cannot wait to photograph your wedding. Go Giants!

The type of pre-wedding shoot that I do is usually based on my couple's personality. This is when having a good listening skill helps. I always welcome good or unusual ideas. Creativity is what drives me and what keeps me looking forward to the next assignment.. Bethany and Gary came up with the balloon concept, and I found a place to execute the images..even with very little cooperation from the wind. I understand shooting with balloons is really not a new idea, but because of a recent classic Animation, "UP", balloons may have replaced roses as the #1 symbol of love.

I really enjoy our shoot today, Bethany and Gary. Thank you.

I wonder what my next creative client will come up with? If you do (even though you may think it's too much), I will definitely entertain the idea.
