When Sydnee's parents called and asked me to come by and capture some family photos before their baby lose her baby fat, I was shocked that it was already a year and a half after I photographed the new born images. When I was out shooting in the nice cool weather, it suddenly dawned on me that we were only a few days from the holiday season. To tell you the truth, I cannot really remember what happened all year. I think I'm going to give everyone I know a hug or a phone call before the year is over...Just to tell them I still live in the Bay Area.
I want to share this image of Sydnee in the fall colors to celebrate the beauty of life and the wonder of life that we all should be thankful to have. Before I head for New Orleans to visit my mom, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Palm Event Center 2011 Vendor's Showcase, Romance in the Vineyards. I have to say, they have outdone themselves this year. Every bit of the space was well used. I've never seen the Palm looked so good. All the vendors' hard work and incredible skills were truly on display. I'm sure the 350+ guests will come away with some great ideas for their weddings.
I really enjoy these annual events since it actually allows me to sit there and have conversations longer than "Hi" and "Hello" with the wonderful staff at Casa Real at Palm Event Center and the vendors that I've run into often at wedding assignments. Plus, the food is usually awesome (shout out to Adam, the head chef). On top of that, I was able to meet with all the wonderful couples I will be working with next year.
