Tyler photojournalistic instinct is shaped by his life experiences: a love for jazz and art during his cultured upbringing in New Orleans; his studies in Communications, Graphic Arts and Photography at the University of Loyola; and influences from designers and photographers while working at the San Jose Mercury News.

As a well-established photographer in the Bay Area, Tyler understands the importance of cultural traditions and has extensive experience in covering ethnically diverse weddings. Little known facts about Tyler: He enjoys playing and watching football (he’s a huge N.O. Saints fan), collecting comic books, and catching new movies.
